I upgraded to IE 7 which downgraded HP DIrector. Now I can not scan. The printer works and trhid party scanning software works, but Hp Director does not function. Tried to go back to IE 6, Tried to upgrade to Hp Solution Center. Treid to uninstall and reinstall the software. All steps have gone backwards. Has anyone experienced this problem and resolved it. Cheers.

Go to control panel, Add-remove and uninstall IE7. IE6 will come back automatically.

If you have created any PC restiore points earlier please rioll back to that point. The scanner will work perfectly. Another option is to download the updated driver from HP Website. Cheers!
